This was such a fun hat to make! It's one of Carolyn's patterns, The Slip Stash Hat. I made one for Nick for Christmas in black, gray and white. This one is a shop model at The Naked Sheep for a class I'm teaching this spring.It's a super fun technique! And the yarn, Cash Vero DK, is delightful! It's a super soft blend of merino wool, microfiber and cashmere.

This IS cute! I'm working on knitting/crocheting hats, scarves, and the like for an orphange in Kazakhstan - 200 kids ages 5 to 17. Would this pattern be an appropriate size for a child?
